The marketing leg of your business

Growth is not luck. It's a system.

Small Cove Media builds marketing systems for service businesses: paid ads, landing pages, booking, and follow-up wired together, with results reported from your books, not our dashboard. Engagements start at $2,000 a month.

  • You talk to the founder, not an account layer
  • Every dollar tied to a number on your P&L
  • Remote-first, working nationwide

The problem

Most marketing gets bought on faith.

You get a dashboard, not dollars

Impressions, reach, engagement. None of it pays rent. If your agency can't tell you what a new customer costs and what they're worth, they're reporting activity, not outcomes.

Content without a system is a hobby

Posting when you have time, boosting when you feel guilty. Attention only matters when there's a machine behind it that turns a viewer into a booked customer.

The follow-up is where money dies

Most businesses don't lose leads to competitors. They lose them to slow replies, missed calls, and forms nobody checks. The leak is usually after the click, not before it.

Proof

Two kinds of proof: revenue and attention.

A system has to do both jobs: earn attention, then turn it into money. Here's one of each, with the numbers.

Paid ads · Barbershop · Fresno, CA

Kongo Barbershop

Three locations, running on referrals and walk-ins. Doing $67,800 a month before we touched anything.

Three months into our growth system, May closed at $92,490. That is roughly $24,700 in added monthly revenue, on $619 of ad spend, at $1.37 per new client through the door.

Those numbers come from the shop's point of sale, not a marketing dashboard. That's the standard every campaign gets held to.

Organic content · Retail · YouTube

Clovis Cards

A local trading card shop's YouTube channel. We ran the entire content engine for a year.

Hundreds of videos published on a near-daily schedule, and every format decision made by the data, not by taste. The scoreboard found the winning format, and we doubled down on it until the channel's top ten videos alone had pulled 3.3 million views.

To be clear about what those numbers are: views don't pay rent, and we don't sell content retainers. Attention is raw material. This case proves we can manufacture it at volume; the system's job is turning it into booked customers, like the case above.

The Small Cove Growth System

One machine. Four stages. Numbers every month.

01

Run the numbers

Before anything launches, we work out your customer value, close rate, and capacity. If the math says paid ads won't pay for themselves in your business, we tell you on the first call.

02

Build the machine

One specific offer your market actually wants, campaigns built around it, and a landing page wired straight into your calendar. Nobody fills out a form and waits.

03

Launch and calibrate

Ads go live. The first weeks test creative and audiences until the cost per booked customer is a number we can predict, not a hope.

04

Report and tighten

Monthly reporting in plain English and a strategy call with Logan. We scale what works, kill what doesn't, and show you what every new customer cost.

Productized

Own a barbershop? Your version is already built.

The Barbershop Growth System is this exact machine, productized for barbershops: flat $1,500 a month, fixed scope, and the system behind the Kongo numbers above. One page, full pricing, no call required to see it.

Logan McKinney, founder

The founder

You talk to the person who builds it.

Logan McKinney started Small Cove Media in 2020. No account managers, no hand-offs, no junior team learning on your budget. The agency is fully remote and works with owners across the country.

The person on your monthly strategy call is the person who wrote your ads, built your landing page, and watches your cost per booking every week. He would rather show you a dashboard than a deck.

The name is the method: a cove takes the open ocean and channels it into calm, focused water. We do that with your marketing. One offer, one system, numbers you can check.

Questions

Answers before you ask.

What does it cost?

Engagements start at $2,000 a month plus your ad spend, which you pay to Meta directly. Scope is built around your business on the first call. Productized industry systems, like the Barbershop Growth System, have their own flat pricing.

Why is the barbershop system cheaper?

Because it's productized. One industry, one playbook, one fixed scope, so the core system runs at $1,500 a month, with optional video add-ons priced separately on top. Custom engagements start at $2,000 because the system gets designed around your specific business and math.

Where do you work?

Anywhere in the country. The agency is remote-first and always has been for ad work. Everything runs over video calls, shared reporting, and your own numbers. California roots, national clients.

Do you do content and social media?

We've run full content engines, including a year of near-daily publishing that pulled millions of views for one client. But we don't sell content as a standalone service. If organic attention is the right lever for your growth system, it goes in the plan with a job to do.

What if I'm already running my own ads?

We audit what's running, show you where spend is leaking, and rebuild from there. If you're already hitting your targets, we say so and you keep your money.

What do you need from me?

Photos or footage of your actual business, access to your booking and sales numbers so we can measure honestly, and one call a month. We handle everything else.

Next step

Book a 15-minute call.

No pitch deck. We run the numbers on your business, tell you what a system would cost and what it should return, and you decide from there.
